The Greensville/Southampton Hokie Club and Alumni Chapter held their first ever golf tournament in Southampton on August 19th. Fourteen teams competed in the tournament, which took place at Cypress Cove Country Club in Franklin, VA. The tournament also included a 50/50 raffle, silent auction as well as a dinner provided by the country club to end the day. All proceeds go towards the annual scholarship the club presents to all new student attending Virginia Tech every fall.

The chapter also has another tournament lined up for October 21st in Emporia.
