The Greensville/Southampton Hokie Club and Alumni Chapter held thier annual scholarship dinner on July 31st. Over 100 Hokies from the area attended the event, held at the Hubs Vine in Franklin, VA. Guest were treated to a catered meal by the venue. A brief business meeting was held, but the main reason for the gathering was to congratulate and send off nine new students from the area. After the scholarship presentation, Mike Burnop treated attendees to a Hokie sports preview of what to expect this year on the gridiron and on the hardwood.
